Perhaps the most well know spot on the WHR is the Bryn y Felin bridge to the north of the Aberglasyn Pass, as the location of may photographs of the old WHR. The original bridge however was never painted, and although it survived until 1999, had to be demolished in that year due to its unstable condition. 7 years later and Bryn y Felin is back – a brand new bridge, which has been designed to look identical to the original, although it has been painted this time! The bridge has been built by D J Williams and Son of Caernarfon, and was delivered on the 11th of March 2006, with the main beams lowed into place the same day.
As the day started, no bridge, but with preparations to the abutments complete.
