Fourth of four collections showing a week in the life of the Ffestiniog. The main task during the week was to Finish the MAV, which left the railway on Friday. This involved the following: Removing the MAV from the Carriage works and putting it into the errecting shop on Tuesday, jacking up the coach off its "rollers" and then painting the underside on the Wednesday, lowering it down on SAR bogies on Thursday, and cleaning it out before moving it Porthmadog for departure on the Friday.
How the week began - the MAV car in the Carriage works, where it had been since October.
