Second of four collections showing a week in the life of the Ffestiniog. My favourite FR locomotive, without doubt, is Merddin Emrys. He has been out of traffic for over 9 years, and so his return, only two weeks ago was greatly welcomed. This was the first time I'd seen him in the action since August '96 and the first time I'd travelled behind him since July 1992. Here are some cracking shots of the Wizard in action.

This shot sums up for me the whole year so far. Hats off to team Ricket Rescue/ME2K for getting not one, but two locomotives out this summer.
